About September Very Own Training

Now, this is a story all about how my life got flipped-turned upside down, and I'd like to take a minute. Just sit right there, I'll tell you how I became the trainer of a town called Lafayette. I played for Lafayette Jefferson High; Graduated 2012 and hold a record of most 3s in J&C Classic Hoops, with 7/11 from 3 point range Average 13.6 points a game. Did not extend my playing through college. That's what my program is about pushing players to go far past their comfort zone. We started training in 2020 during COVID. Starting small with word of mouth and some social media advertising, we grew over the past 5 years and became a house hold name . The goal is to build our own gym and make this program the best in the city. As we aim to train and push as many students to college level and chase their dreams.

Our Mission

Our main mission is to help every kid in our program reach all their basketball goals and help mold them, getting them ready to be more than just a basketball player. We are building leaders on and off the court.

Core Values

Our core values are discipline, resilience, positivity, responsibility, and commitment, all of which promote personal growth, strong team relationships, and consistent high performance on and off the court.

What Makes Us Unique

Our trainers are real humans; we maintain a culture of inclusivity and respect. We foster a supportive environment where everyone feels encouraged to be themselves. Having experienced being overlooked in the past, we approach the game with a competitive mindset. We are committed to revitalizing the competitive spirit of basketball in Lafayette, Indiana.
